The Art and Science of Equine Assisted Learning & Training

"My journey with Equine Assisted Learning has been nothing short of transformative. As a woman navigating life's challenges, I found myself seeking a path to healing and self-discovery, and EAL provided exactly that – and so much more.

Research in the field of psychology has long recognized the therapeutic benefits of animal-assisted interventions, and my experience with horses validated these findings on a deeply personal level. Studies have shown that interactions with horses can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, while promoting emotional well-being and resilience. I can attest to the truth of these findings firsthand. Through my work with horses, I learned to regulate my emotions, manage stress more effectively, and cultivate a sense of inner peace that I had never before experienced.

Equine Assisted Learning offers a unique and experiential approach to personal growth and development. Research has shown that experiential learning leads to deeper understanding and retention of new skills and concepts. By engaging with horses in hands-on activities, I was able to internalize valuable lessons about communication, leadership, and self-awareness in a way that traditional therapy or classroom learning could never replicate.

The most profound impact of Equine Assisted Learning has been the sense of connection and empowerment it has fostered within me. Research has highlighted the importance of social support and connection for mental health and well-being, and the bond I formed with the horses and my fellow participants became a source of strength and inspiration. Through our shared experiences, I discovered a newfound sense of belonging and sisterhood that continues to enrich my life to this day.

Equine Assisted Learning is not just a therapeutic intervention – it's a journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment. Backed by scientific research and bolstered by the wisdom of horses, it offers a path to wellness that is both profound and enduring. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to embark on this journey, and I would encourage anyone seeking personal growth and transformation to experience the magic of Equine Assisted Learning for themselves."
